WBSCC scheme is one of the best scheme announced by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. This Scheme will help higher education for needy students. Unlike traditional education loan, it will give more benefit to its beneficiaries. One student can borrow Student Credit Card Loan for his education purpose. SCC offer up to 10 lakhs limit to spent for higher education. After class 10 or Madhyamika equivalent examination one student can apply for Student Credit Card.

The main benefit of WBSCC scheme is you can repay the amount after getting a job. Also, you can take long time (15 years) for repayment the loan amount. This student credit card scheme will charge reducing 4% on loan amount.

  • Students of West Bengal only.
  • After class 10 you can apply for WBSCC scheme.
  • Courses eligible for WBSCC are- undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, IITs, IIMs, NLUs, IAS, IPS, Professional studies, WBPS or competitive examination.
